Rachel Barnhart
Director of Media Relations
Rachel Barnhart is UpTogether’s Director of Media Relations. Based in Rochester, N.Y., Rachel was a longtime local broadcast journalist before making the move to public relations. Before arriving at UpTogether, Rachel drove media coverage for a national voting rights organization. Rachel is a graduate of Cornell University and earned her executive Master in Public Administration from Syracuse University’s Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs. Rachel also serves her community as a part-time citizen county legislator. Rachel is an avid swimmer and proud dog mom to Penny and Prudy.
