Lofton Holder

Lofton is an independent director of Golub Capital BDC (nasdaq: GBDC) as well as New York Life Investments IndexIQ Exchange Traded Funds complex. He is also an executive advisor to the management team at Landed, a venture capital backed proptech company utilizing a shared equity program to assist essential professionals in the purchase of their first homes. He previously served as an Independent Director and chair of the Compensation Committee for Manning & Napier (NYSE: MN) until the firm was acquired in a private transaction

 

Lofton is actively engaged in the community, especially to advance educational equity for young people from low-income backgrounds. Lofton is a board member of The Edwin Gould Foundation Accelerator, Maimonides Medical Center and co-chairs the Leadership Council for the USF Institute for Nonviolence and Social Justice. Lofton is also a former director of the Museum for African Art (currently the Africa Center) in New York City.

 

Lofton Holder was co-founder and retired managing partner of Pine Street Alternative Asset Management LLC. Pine Street invests seed capital with emerging hedge fund managers. In addition to providing transformational investment capital, Pine Street uses a managed account fund governance structure to ensure best-in-class fiduciary standards for portfolio companies, specifically in risk management, business development, compliance, and back office operations. Under Lofton’s leadership, Pine Street was awarded Best Hedge Fund Seeding Platform 2018 and Hedge Fund Innovator of the Year 2017. Prior to creating Pine Street, Lofton spent over 30 years at Investcorp, JP Morgan and The First Boston Corporation in a variety of senior executive roles.
