User Experience Researcher
Bronwyn Clarke joined UpTogether (previously Family Independence Initiative) in 2019 as a User Experience Researcher. She’s passionate about harnessing the power of social capital and participatory design to transform social systems in partnership with families. Drawing on her background in qualitative research, Bronwyn uses methods from human-centered design to meaningfully involve families in UpTogether’s technology development process. Prior to joining UpTogether, Bronwyn worked as a research consultant with the Center for the Study of Social Policy, with an innovation and design start-up, and with social entrepreneurs experimenting with relational social policy in the United Kingdom. Bronwyn holds a Masters of Philosophy in Comparative Social Policy from the University of Oxford, a BA in politics and economics from the University of Washington Tacoma, and an AA degree from South Puget Sound Community College.
