Vice President of Partnerships and Revenue
Beth Oppenheim joined UpTogether in November 2021 after nearly 16 years in the global development and immigrant and refugee rights fields, focused mainly on fundraising, program design, research, and monitoring and evaluation. Most recently, she served as the Vice President for Business Development at Church World Service, an interfaith humanitarian agency. She also was a co-founder of the Voice for Refuge Action Fund, the first refugee policy-focused 501c4 organization in the U.S. Beth has lived and worked overseas for large swaths of her career in Mozambique, South Africa, Kenya, and Uganda. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Cape Town, focused on looking at grassroots cash incentive programs in Maputo, Mozambique. She also holds a Masters of Science. in Global Affairs from NYU. A born and raised New Yorker, Beth lives in Brooklyn with her partner and their adopted pitbull, Satchel.
