Amber Buchanan

Amber joined UpTogether in April of 2023. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree from Mountain State University in West Virginia. She has gained 20+ years of progressive accounting and management experience throughout her career. Amber has worked for nonprofits and for-profits that focus on leaving the world better than we found it. Most recently she was a Financial Controller with an agriculture company that worked to replace harsh and toxic chemicals with organic products. Since she was a teenager, she has volunteered with multiple non-profits including suicide hot lines, animal shelters, food pantries and more. She believes there’s nothing more important in life than helping others. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her son and taking her dog for walks around the lake.
