Elsa Flores

Elsa is a Salvadoran wife and mother of three living in East Boston, who has dedicated more than 30 years to education and community advocacy. With experience as a teacher in El Salvador and as a leader in Boston, she brings expertise in cultural competency, parent organizing, and advocacy for linguistic justice and inclusion. Recognized with numerous awards for her leadership and service, Elsa now works with Union Capital and serves as Director of Leadership Development in the office of Boston City Councilor-at-Large Julia Mejia, where she continues to advance equity and opportunity for all families.
